Walsh Private is our private client advisory vehicle - essentially designed to provide high-value opportunities for clients of significant means.

Opportunities are likely to manifest themselves in a number of ways and typically the size of the financial transaction will be significantly larger than other areas of our business.

An example of how this model might operate is through syndication. The likely sequence could be, identify a project, conduct due diligence and other analysis and formulate a development strategy.

A key part of the latter would of course be the financials. Once a project outline is drawn – a syndicate of owners would be put in place, each investing a portion of the overall cost.

Another vital part of the process would of course be the exit strategy – showing the likely how and when of profitability for those investors.

Whilst the above model is quite commonplace in construction, it is one which we see as being capable of replication across other sectors where opportunities arise.
