Having spent over 15 years with Standard Life, Ricky decided to set up his own business, Walsh Consulting in 1999. Originally the core business was financial services but over the years Ricky expanded the company to what it is now known as “Walsh Group”.
Walsh Group is made up of four components – each in its own way totally dedicated to client satisfaction.
Walsh Consulting is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland as an Authorised Advisor, the most comprehensive form of intermediary approval in Ireland. We provide independent advice to our clients in all areas of financial planning, including Family & Business Protection, Income Protection, Health Insurance, Pensions, Investments & Savings and mortgages. We deal with all of the major providers in the Irish market but we are not tied to any of them. This independence means we can use our experience and expertise to examine all options before getting the best deal for our clients.
Walsh Development is the vehicle that delivers property product to the market. We manage the process of transforming a greenfield site to a completed product and control the design, planning, construction and handover procedures, to ensure that the end product is of the highest standard. Walsh Development is currently managing a number of exciting mixed use schemes at various stages of the development and planning process.
Walsh Development works in parallel with the most suitable design teams for particular projects ensuring the highest quality design solutions.
Walsh Private is our Private Equity vehicle. Under this structure we have developed investment opportunities in areas such as Health, Leisure, Entertainment, Electronics, Property and Energy. All of the above have active management involvement by senior members of Walsh Private and in all cases managed under partnership structures.
This is the section of the group which deals with property. We deal with property both in Ireland and Overseas, on our own behalf and on behalf of our clients. We deal with all issues surrounding property i.e. purchase, sale, letting management and more recently the entire asset management services associated with property.
